Where do I find my hallmark?
Silver is usually stamped with a tiny hallmark showing its purity, a phone camera close-up helps you read it:
  • Rings & jewellery: inside the band or on the clasp.
  • Cutlery: on the back of the handle or the neck.
  • Tea sets, trays, candlesticks: on the underside or base.
Common marks: 925 (sterling), 999 (fine), 800/500 (continental). Can't find one? Pick "Not sure" and we will test it precisely and confirm.
